The Atlanta Community Food Bank will be hosting its Simple Abundance cooking class with the Dame of Southern cooking and award-winning author, Chef Virginia Willis. Join the interactive demonstration where she will feature dishes from her latest cookbook Secrets of the Southern Table: A Food Lover’s Tour of the Global South. Join us to learn some new recipes right in time for Thanksgiving, all while giving back to your community. Chefs Tamie Cook, Erika Council, Rebecca Lang and Deborah Van Trece will also be there cooking up delicious dishes. All participating chefs’ cookbooks will be available for purchase and signing. The evening will also include wine tastings and a chance to win tasty door prizes. The cost to attend is $85 per person and 100 percent of the proceeds benefit the Atlanta Community Food Bank.
