Music Biz Workshops: Film & Television Edition: Panel & Pitch, Sunday, May 21, 2017 is a spectacular evening filled the rawest, music insider’s tips, and networking expo in the Southeast. Not only does Panel & Pitch drop jewels of worthwhile knowledge, but it’s been said that you should expect to experience next level of synchronization enlightenment! We bring in the industry’s leading music supervisors, creative licensing companies, entertainment lawyers, publishers and other entertainment industry professionals all under one roof to serve one purpose…to help advance the power of music.
Panel & Pitch is a 2 part industry workshop and networking event designed to give participants more bang for their buck. The “Panel” features some of today’s leading industry experts and professionals. Panelists will deliver multiple viewpoints from the synch/music-licensing world, the fastest growing segment in the music industry. Panelists break down step by step how to place your music into major film, television and other forms of media. We will cover industry terms, strategies, do’s and don’ts as well as general advice and tips.
We actively encourage event participants to take action and submit their music for a free review prior to the event. The “Pitch” portion of the workshop provides an exclusive opportunity for creative types to be heard directly by our tastemakers. The top submissions have a chance to play/pitch their music directly to our highly esteemed music supervisors and music licensing companies for consideration in future projects. Space is limited to 12 pre-selected participants and $75 administration fee is required to “Pitch”.
Our Panel & Pitch team is here to genuinely help attendees grow in their artistry, which is exactly why the panel provides positive critiques and gives constructive feedback on how submission can improve and increase placement opportunities. Participants will only have one chance to get it right and only one song will be selected, therefore we encourage participants to send in their top choice and cross their fingers.
As an added bonus, Panel & Pitch will also discuss Georgia’s new and expanded tax incentives. Why is this important? These new and expanded tax incentives have a direct impact on the growth of Georgia’s music, film and digital media economies and will expand the states music economy by 10,000 jobs over the next five years. Trust us you, don’t want to miss this opportunity!
This is the ideal event for musicians, bands, songwriters, singers, rappers, managers, producers, audio engineers and other creative individuals. Since music licensing and synchronization is one of the most lucrative ways to generate income within the music business this will be a must-attend event.
