ISAAC & JOEL
Isaac & Joel, the musical project of lifelong friends Isaac George and Joel Norman, is an indie-pop duo from the outskirts of Atlanta. They began making music together in middle school, recording covers and freestyle raps on their parents’ computers. Now in their early 20’s, they have become more serious about their music, while still retaining the freedom of being young and somewhat reckless. This youthful, daring style exemplifies itself in their music, but is accompanied by both member’s love for classical composers such as J.S. Bach, Haydn, and Brahms, giving the listener something deeper than the average pop song.
is a bright young singer/songwriter on the American independent music scene, but beyond that, he knows how to write and perform in a way that
emotionally communicates. Jordy has crafted a sound, show and songs reminiscent of Ed Sheeran, Judah & The Lion, and Jon Foreman. All of the
coaches on The Voice had something good to say about him when he climbed the ranks of the television singing competition in 2014. After the
show, Jordy recorded and released his debut 4 song EP “Seasons” which went to #5 on Apple Music singer/songwriter charts. Jordy has since racked
up close to 100,000 song streams and 130,000 youtube views. In 2016, Jordy and his co-manager, Scooter Spicer, booked and played around 200
shows in college markets across the US, releasing a hard-copy-only mixtape and growing an engaged live audience. Later in 2016, Jordy signed with
Brave Enough Artist agency, and is preparing for his next release while continuing to grow an excited live audience across the US.
The Brook & The Bluff
Birmingham natives Alec Bolton and Joseph Settine formed The Brook & The Bluff while attending Auburn University. The group’s name stems from each member’s distinct home suburb in Birmingham, Mountain Brook and Bluff Park.
Originally an acoustic duo, the pair quickly became a staple at local venues, turning heads with clean vocals and expert guitar work. Still searching for the right musicians to create a full band, the duo released “The Rough Cuts,” a 3-song acoustic project, in the fall of 2015.
In the spring of 2016, John Canada noticed the talent and potential of the duo and offered to play percussion and sing with Joseph and Alec. Soon after, he officially joined the group, expanding their sound with driving rhythm and an added voice. The trio instantly locked in and started playing together consistently. After resolving to make something of this ensemble, the trio searched for a bassist to fill the bill. Rip Britton completed The Brook & The Bluff on bass in the summer of 2016.
Now fully equipped, The Brook & The Bluff is passionate about sharing their original music with Birmingham and beyond. The band is working on its first full project and excited about taking the next step in their musical progression
