In Mid-March 2017, our good pal Conan Josh Santamaria was diagnosed with Stage 4 Lung Cancer which has aggressively attacked his lungs, bones, and lymph nodes. Josh is one of the unsung heroes of the Dad’s Garage family — he’s the dude behind the scenes designing our show lighting, as well as the lights in our lobby. He makes sure we look great on stage, and that our lobby looks like a fun place to hang (and not like an overlit waiting room). We want to help give back to Josh, and raise some funds for his treatment.
We will be holding a tribute to him and his awesome work Sunday, April 9th at 7 p.m. at Dad’s Garage. The funds we raise will help pay for his insurance deductible and living expenses while he is in treatment. This event will also be a great time to discuss how we as a family can continue to support Josh–meal trains, dog walking, or keeping his spirits up with positive notes.
